Apprentice Joiner

Training and Development: We are seeking a skilled and motivated Apprentice Joiner to join our team at Fortem Cares. In this role, you will have the opportunity to develop your skills in carpentry repairs, general joinery, and fire door replacement.

Job Description: The successful candidate will be responsible for undertaking a range of tasks, including carpentry repairs, kitchen repairs, and fencing. They will also participate in wider business activities to enhance learning and community involvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out carpentry repairs, including kitchen repairs and fencing.\
• Complete general joinery tasks, such as cutting and shaping timber for floorboards, doors, skirting boards, and window frames.\
• Undertake fire door replacement.\
• Participate in local community initiatives.\
• Maintain high manual dexterity and work in confined spaces without restriction.\
