Job Description


As a Sales Assistant at Evans Cycles, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving sales growth. Your primary responsibilities will include:



  • Providing top-notch customer service, ensuring customers feel valued and supported throughout their shopping journey.
  • Becoming an expert in our product range, staying up-to-date with the latest cycling trends and technologies.
  • Engaging with customers to identify their needs, recommending products that meet their requirements, and achieving sales targets.
  • Assisting with inventory management, including restocking shelves, checking stock levels, and reporting any discrepancies.
  • Processing transactions accurately and efficiently, handling cash, credit card payments, and other payment methods.
  • Maintaining store appearance, merchandising products attractively, and adhering to safety protocols.


Required Skills and Qualifications



  • Candidate must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and colleagues.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of bicycles, components, accessories, and clothing, or a willingness to learn and develop expertise.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks, and managing time efficiently.
  • Previous experience in retail sales, customer service, or a related field is advantageous.
