Senior Arboricultural Role in the UK

The position of Senior Arboriculturalist at Latcom plc offers a unique opportunity to advance your career in a leading natural environment consultancy. Based in the South East, this hybrid/remote role combines flexibility with a dynamic work environment.

As an experienced Arboriculturalist, you will be responsible for overseeing BS5837 surveys, utility surveys, and tree safety evaluations using state-of-the-art GIS mapping software. You will also create technical reports to support utility installations, planning applications, and other tree safety activities. Additionally, you will supervise the work of the Arboricultural clerk of works, ensuring project management and quality control are maintained. Your expertise will be crucial in directing tree protection audits and providing on-the-spot guidance as needed. Furthermore, you will assist with project cost and scope estimation. To excel in this role, you should possess a minimum NQF Level 3 qualification in arboriculture, strengthened by practical experience, or regard it as the first step towards a rewarding profession after graduation. You must also be prepared to participate in our on-site training programs to facilitate a smooth transition into the position.
