CRU International Limited is seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join its Copper & Zinc Markets team as a Base Metals Analyst. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and maintaining a deep understanding of the base metals market, with a primary focus on North America.

The role will involve:

  • Developing and maintaining a comprehensive understanding of the base metals market, including market trends, drivers, and outlooks.
  • Conducting primary and secondary research to inform market views and analysis.
  • Collaborating with the global team of analysts to ensure thorough and transparent coverage of the base metals market.
  • Contributing to written reports, presentations, and market-leading insights to support the Copper & Zinc team's products.

The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background in a numerate discipline, such as economics or engineering, and a keen interest in developing their understanding of the base metals markets. They will be highly numerate, with the ability to critically analyze data and identify trends and key drivers.

Additional requirements include:

  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with clients and stakeholders.
  • Fluent written and spoken English.

CRU International Limited operates on a global basis, and the successful candidate will be expected to communicate across offices and time zones. Some international business travel may be required.
