Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled nurse or paramedic to join our team in providing exceptional care to detainees in custody suites. This is a unique opportunity to work in a dynamic environment and develop your clinical and forensic skills.
Main Duties
As a care and custody nurse or paramedic, you will be responsible for delivering gold standard care to detainees, working closely with the police to ensure their health and wellbeing are at the centre of our care approach.
About the Role
This is a part-time role, with fixed shift working, including day and night shifts. You will be required to work in a team rota pattern, covering the custody suites 24/7. We offer a competitive salary, £20,000 per year, plus a £500 bonus for completing 12 months of service.

Person Specification
Qualifications
Essential
- RN, RGN, or RMN with dual registration: 2 years post-qualification, Band 5 minimum
- Paramedic: 2 years post-qualification
- Minimum of 2 years post-qualification experience in a patient-facing role within a relevant field: General Practice, A&E, Emergency Medicine, acute medicine, Walk-in Centres, Substance Misuse Services, Prison Healthcare, or Ambulance Service
Vetting Requirements
Essential
- Driving Licence (required)
- Must be a UK resident for 3 years + no gaps out of country more than 3 months
- All candidates will be subject to Police Vetting
