About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Academic Support Professional to join our team at Excell Supply Ltd. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about education and working with children.

Job Description
  • Support teachers in planning, implementing, and assessing educational programs.
  • Ensure the safety and well-being of children in and out of the classroom.
  • Promote positive behavior and manage challenging situations effectively.
  • Supervise children during playtime and lunchtime, ensuring their engagement and participation.
  • Prepare educational materials, including cutting, sticking, photocopying, and laminating.
  • Observe and provide feedback on children's learning progress to teachers.
Requirements
  • Relevant qualification or experience working with children in a caring capacity.
  • Transferable skills such as teamwork, initiative, flexibility, adaptability, remaining calm under pressure, caring, and helpfulness.
  • Friendly, positive, and proactive attitude.
  • Experience working with students with challenging behavior.
  • An Enhanced DBS certificate on the Update Service (we can assist you in applying).
