Job Summary:

XPO Transport Solutions UK Limited is seeking a skilled and physically fit individual to join our team as a Drivers Mate. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for making deliveries to commercial and residential properties and sites, working as a 2-person team to ensure efficient and safe transportation of goods.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting drivers with multi-drop deliveries to various locations
  • Ensuring accurate and timely delivery of goods to customers
  • Providing excellent customer service and interacting with customers in a professional manner
  • Working in a fast-paced warehouse environment, lifting and moving heavy goods as required
  • Participating in ongoing training and development programs to enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is desirable, but not essential
  • Physical fitness to lift and move heavy goods
  • Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively with colleagues and customers
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and overtime as required
