Job Title: Building Surveyor Team Leader

Bell is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Building Surveyor Team Leader to join our team in Wessex. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of building surveyors and ensuring the successful delivery of projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of building surveyors to deliver projects on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards.
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and budgets.
  • Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, identify potential issues, and provide guidance to team members.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records, including project documentation, reports, and financial information.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure excellent customer service.
  • Identify and mitigate risks, and develop contingency plans to ensure project continuity.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
  • MCIOB qualification or equivalent.
  • CMI L5 Certificate in Management and Leadership.
  • HND/HNC in Building Studies or related field.
  • Pitman Excel – Advanced User.
  • CSCS card – Manager/Professionally qualified person.
  • Strong analytical and mathematical abilities.
  • Exceptional time management skills.
  • Good negotiating talent.
  • A drive for career progression.
