Job Title: Customer Service Representative - Parts and Service Advisor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative - Parts and Service Advisor. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting the sale of workshop services and products, and ensuring the efficient operation of our service department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide professional and helpful service to customers, identifying their needs and requirements.
  • Assist customers in preparing depot actions to meet their service parts requirements.
  • Carry out invoicing and administration tasks efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely completion.
  • Greet customers in a courteous manner, interpret their requirements, and complete necessary paperwork.
  • Monitor Work In Progress (WIP) reports to clear Workshop instructions as soon as possible.
  • Liaise with the Workshop Foreman to maximize Workshop loading, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
  • Inform customers of completion times and payment methods.
  • Contact customers to inform them of any additional work required and issue accurate quotations.
  • Courteously and efficiently handle and process customer complaints.
  • Assist in the management and arrangement of customer vehicle workshop bookings for inspections, servicing, and repairs.
  • Effectively plan activity levels, including regular account maintenance visits and target account visits.
  • Promote Volvo Trucks products, services, and value at all times.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Good IT knowledge, with the ability to learn in-house systems.
  • Familiarization with booking times, vehicle parts, and product development.
  • Ability to keep up to date with product development by reading relevant information and technical notes.
