Digital Hardware Design Lead

Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Hardware Engineer to lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of control centre hardware products, tools, and processes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing work packages to ensure timely and budget-friendly delivery while mentoring junior team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the design and development of hardware products and systems.
- Oversee product obsolescence activities, including board re-design and firmware migration.
- Ensure products are EMC compliant, supporting the integration of COTS-based hardware with custom application software.
- Support product testing, approval, and software integration to maintain functionality.
- Mentor team members, providing technical leadership to enhance the overall capability of the team.
- Develop and maintain V&V test specifications for hardware products.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Degree or equivalent experience in electronics or electrical engineering.
- Expertise in analogue and digital circuit design, PCB layout, and product validation and verification processes.
