About The Role

Eiffage Kier, a joint venture of international civil engineering and construction companies, is seeking an Environmental Advisor to support the Environment Manager in delivering HS2 contract requirements.

The role will involve site monitoring to ensure compliance with noise trigger levels and water quality discharge consent conditions. You will also be responsible for providing assurance in accordance with EKFB management processes.

As an Environmental Advisor, you will provide specialist advice to project managers on HS2 contract environmental requirements, EKFB management processes, and other legal requirements. This includes identifying opportunities for implementing best practice and innovation to achieve cost and programme efficiencies and risk mitigation.

You will work closely with the commercial team to support suppliers in submitting sustainability data and reports, vehicle and plant use data, and other required information.

The ideal candidate will have excellent organisational and communication skills, ability to work within a team, accuracy of work, and attention to detail. A degree-level qualification in a relevant discipline, working towards IEMA practitioner level, is essential. A full driving license is also required.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Site monitoring and sampling
  • Providing assurance in accordance with EKFB management processes
  • Specialist advice to project managers on HS2 contract environmental requirements
  • Sustainability data and reports management

Requirements:
