Aircraft Workshop Apprenticeship Overview
The Aircraft Workshop Apprenticeship at British Airways is a unique opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in aircraft maintenance and repair. As a trainee technician, you will work alongside experienced professionals in our state-of-the-art Fleet Support Facility workshop.
Training and Development
You will study towards a BTEC Level 3 in Engineering and achieve an EAL Level 2 Diploma in Advanced Manufacturing Engineering. You will also receive additional training in aircraft-related subjects, such as air legislation, human factors, and aircraft composite repairs.
Work-Based Learning
Throughout your apprenticeship, you will gain hands-on experience in the workshop, working on a variety of aircraft components and systems. You will also have the opportunity to work with our engineering teams to develop and improve our maintenance processes.

Eligibility
To be eligible for this apprenticeship, you must be a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for aircraft maintenance and repair. You should have a strong academic record and be willing to learn and develop new skills.
