Job Title: Nursery Assistant

We are seeking a qualified and enthusiastic Nursery Assistant to join our team at a fantastic Montessori setting in Fordingbridge. As a Nursery Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to children aged 4 months to 4 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Work with a diverse age group, from curious 4-month-olds to energetic 4-year-olds, and guide them on their exciting learning journeys.
  • Support the development of children's social, emotional, and cognitive skills.
  • Establish strong relationships with parents and carers through effective communication and collaboration.
  • Contribute to a collaborative environment and work alongside colleagues who share your passion for early years education.
  • Ensure the health, safety, and well-being of children at all times.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 qualified in Early Years Education or equivalent.
  • Strong knowledge and understanding of safeguarding and child protection.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • DBS registered to the update service or willingness to apply for one.
