Salary and Benefits Package
We offer a competitive salary of £12.00 per hour, with opportunities for overtime and bonuses. In addition to your hourly rate, you will also receive enhanced occupational maternity and adoption pay, enhanced occupational paternity pay entitlement, death in service payment, pension scheme, benefits and wellbeing platform, 28 days annual leave (pro rata), refer a friend scheme, cycle to work scheme, and eligibility for Blue Light Card discounts nationwide.
Responsibilities
Your responsibilities as a Care Assistant with Abacare will include:
- Following individual care plans and assisting with personal care tasks
- Providing emotional support and companionship to our clients
- Helping with practical tasks like shopping, mealtimes, and housework
- Maintaining accurate records and reporting any changes or concerns to the team
About You
To succeed in this role, you will need to be caring, compassionate, and able to work independently as part of a close-knit team. You do not need any prior social care experience, but a willingness to learn and develop your skills is essential.
