About the Role

We are looking for a skilled Senior Mechanical Design Analyst to join our team at Reed Engineering, based in Derbyshire. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and developing bespoke products that meet client specifications and comply with relevant legislative requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement design solutions that meet customer needs and regulatory requirements.
  2. Work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time and within budget.
  3. Collaborate with external design resources to ensure effective project delivery.
  4. Conduct site surveys and gather data to inform design decisions.
  5. Produce high-quality design documentation and reports.
  6. Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.

What You'll Need

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a senior design role.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical engineering principles and design software.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
