Job Description

A high-tech manufacturer in Newport, who has received significant investment and is undergoing expansion, requires a Technical Facilities Manager to join its growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the day-to-day facilities function, including external contractors.

Responsibilities
  • Management of sub-contractors undertaking routine and reactive maintenance tasks
  • Development of project scopes of work for factory tool installations, central facilities plant upgrades, and manufacturing construction projects
  • Creation of permit to work forms
  • Validation of risk and method statements
  • Creation of scope of works for quotation/tender processes
  • Budget and expense management control and reporting
  • Ability to efficiently prioritize work schedules, minimizing downtime, and maximizing resources
  • Ability to confidently liaise with other support departments and functions
  • Management and control of 'Facilities Work Request' (ad-hoc facilities requests) process
  • Management of cross-functional teams to ensure priority conflicts are resolved effectively
  • Management of health and safety requirements, clearly demonstrating a 'Safe System of Work' in line with all facilities management activities
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this position is £40,000 - £60,000 per annum, depending on experience.
