Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Consultant to join our team at Atlas Recruitment Group. As a Cyber Security Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, building, integrating, and providing ongoing support for all submarine platforms in the Royal Navy fleet.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure that submarine systems and products are developed to be secure and resilient
  • Conduct risk assessments and manage security risks following industry standards such as NIST and ISO 27001
  • Apply security baselines, mitigations, and controls to ensure the security of submarine platforms
  • Produce RMADS (Risk Management and Assessment Document) in accordance with MOD policies and regulations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address security challenges related to Operational Technologies and Control Systems

Requirements:

  • Relevant degree or equivalent experience in a STEM field or Information Security
  • Industry-recognised security certifications like CCP, CISSP, or CISM, or the ability to obtain them
  • Extensive experience in risk assessment and management, security baselines, and controls
  • Background in Product Security, particularly in the defence, maritime, or related sectors
  • Familiarity with MOD policies and regulations like SPF, JSP 440, and JSP 604
