Staff Nurse

About the RoleWe are looking for a Registered Nurse with current NMC registration to work in our 30-bedded Orthopaedic and Vascular Rehabilitation Unit at Biggart Hospital, Prestwick. As a Staff Nurse, you will be accountable for the assessment, development, implementation, and evaluation of programmes of care for a defined caseload of patients, working within the professional standards held in the NMC Code of Professional Conduct.
Key Responsibilities- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, ensuring that patients receive high-quality, person-centered care.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to patients.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of unit policies and procedures.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the continuous improvement of patient care.
- Current NMC registration.
- Working knowledge of General Hospitals Division policies and procedures.
- Ability to keep relevant skills and knowledge updated and documented.
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills.
Two positions available, working 34.1 hours per week. Flexible approach to shift patterns, including night duty, is required.
Essential Requirements- UK driving license/car ownership is essential for this role.
