About the Role

ZF Group is seeking a highly skilled In-House Legal Counsel to join our EMEA Team. As a key member of our Corporate Legal department, you will provide legal guidance and support to our UK management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Advise on commercial contracts and day-to-day issues, including contentious and non-contentious matters in the automotive sector.
  • Review, draft, and negotiate supplier and customer contracts, as well as Collaboration, Development, and License Agreements.
  • Collaborate with international colleagues and authorities to address supplier insolvencies, antitrust matters, IT projects, litigation, and insurance claims.
  • Provide legal and regulatory guidance to UK management and key stakeholders.
  • Take on Company Secretarial duties for our UK companies.
  • Offer proactive legal support and advice to internal customers.
  • Monitor changes in legislation affecting the business and provide internal training on such matters.

Requirements

  • Qualified UK Solicitor with a strong UK contract law background.
  • At least 2 years of relevant post-qualification experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to structure complex issues and communicate effectively.
  • Experience working in the automotive sector and manufacturing environment is beneficial.
