We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Inclusion Room Officer to join our exceptional pastoral team at Leigh Academy Minster. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the academic and personal development of our students, promoting a culture of academic excellence and high expectations.
Key Responsibilities- Establish and implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive attitudes and social skills among students.
- Supervise and coordinate the implementation of inclusion as part of the academy's behaviour management system.
- Provide education, practice, and feedback on positive attitudes and social skills to develop individual character within our culture of academic excellence.
- Promote the importance of inclusion not exclusion with students, parents, and carers.
- Supervise and support young people within our reflection rooms, ensuring pupils are completing assigned work to a high standard and providing opportunities for pupils to reflect on and improve their behaviour and attitudes.
- Monitor the impact of inclusion strategies and report back to the leadership team.
This is a permanent role, working 37 hours per week, term time only, with an actual salary of £22,521 - £24,111 per annum (£26,873 - £28,770 full-time equivalent), based on experience.
