Role Summary

We are seeking a talented Digital Design Intern to join our Creative team at Costello Medical. As a Digital Design Intern, you will be involved in all stages of a wide range of digital projects for our clients within the healthcare sector, from initial concept development to full production.

This internship provides a valuable opportunity to gain hands-on design experience in the pharmaceutical industry. You will support with the creation of interactive content for conferences and events, the development of digital marketing materials, and the design, maintenance, and testing of new and existing website and web applications.

We are looking for individuals with a great understanding of aesthetics and a meticulous attention to detail. As a Digital Design Intern, you will work closely with experienced members of the Creative team who will provide full training on the technical aspects of the role and effective client communication.

This internship involves close collaboration with our team, and you will be working on multiple projects at a time. A high level of organisation and flexibility is essential for this role.

We offer a competitive stipend of £2,150 per calendar month, and you will be entitled to statutory holiday. Our team is committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workforce, and we are an equal opportunity employer.

This internship is ideal for design students or recent graduates who are looking to gain an insight into life in an agency or commercial environment. You will have the opportunity to develop your skills while learning from experienced members of the team.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree level or higher qualification in a design-related discipline (minimum 2.1 or expected 2.1), in addition to a highly innovative portfolio.
  • Experience with UI/UX design for a wide range of digital channels.
  • Technical knowledge of email/web/application development.
  • Working knowledge of Figma, as well as Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop.
  • Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • A high level of productivity and the flexibility to respond to changing deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to build robust and sustainable working relationships.
