Job Title: Nursery Practitioner

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Nursery Practitioner to join our well-established nursery setting in LE4, Birstall, City of Leicester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, secure, and stimulating environment for children, planning and assessing their individual needs, and supporting their development.

Nursery Practitioner Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement engaging play activities for children indoors and outdoors
  • Conduct observations and record child development progress
  • Plan activities tailored to each child's unique needs
  • Provide personal care and support to children
  • Maintain accurate daily records of children's activities and development
  • Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress
  • Participate in team meetings to ensure seamless collaboration
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Childcare and Education is mandatory
  • A genuine passion for working with children is essential
  • Strong teamwork skills and initiative are required
  • Punctuality and reliability are expected
  • A valid DBS check and registration on the update service are necessary
Estimated Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum
