Ruth Wagstaff Recruitment seeks a talented CNC Setter / Operator (Turning) to join their team in Nottingham. This dynamic role involves operating and controlling CNC Turning machines using Fanuc and Mazatrol controls, driving efficiency and productivity.

The estimated annual salary for this position is £28,000 - £33,000, with a shift premium. We also offer our Company Bonus Scheme, which can provide up to 5% of annual salary, and 25 Days Holidays plus bank holidays. The facility features a modern gym and subsidised canteen, promoting a healthy work-life balance.

The ideal candidate will possess working knowledge of CNC Turning machines, ability to use measuring equipment, and experience with tooling setup. Familiarity with Fanuc and Mazatrol controlled machinery is beneficial. Key responsibilities include setting and operating CNC Turning Machines within the Cell, adjusting machine controls, and maintaining accurate part dimensions.

As a CNC Setter / Operator, you will work closely with CAD designs and specifications to produce complex machining outputs. Your attention to detail will ensure high-quality results, while your responsibility for quality control will involve verifying your own work using CMM and shadowgraph machines.
