About the CNC Turner and Operator Role at Acorn by Synergie Careers
Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled CNC Turner and Operator to join our team in Bridgwater. As a CNC Machinist, you will be responsible for managing turning equipment, operating multiple machines, and producing high-quality parts.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage CNC turning equipment, from setup to operation, including checking of e-stops and other safety equipment as routine.
- Operate multiple machines, as and when required, using xyz and Fanuc and okuma operating systems.
- Produce parts from information contained in job cards, reading and understanding technical drawings, and selecting and setting the correct tools for the job.
- Check physical seal dimensions with mechanical and optical measuring equipment and ensure they are within the tolerance specified on the drawings.
- Carry out batch inspection parts at regular intervals as defined in the SOP and batch inspect parts for defects and dispose of any parts that do not meet the required standards.
Requirements:
- Must have operated Fanuc control systems.
- Ability to work Monday to Friday, with one week working 6am-2pm and the next week working 2pm-10pm, with an early Friday finish.
- Ability to read and understand technical drawings and CNC programs.
What We Offer:
- Salary £29,500-£29,700 per annum plus bonus.
