About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented LOLER / PUWER Inspector to join our team at Shorterm Group. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of safety in line with LOLER and PUWER regulations.

Main Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough inspections of engineering tooling, lifting equipment, cranes, pressure vessels, and motorized plant to identify non-compliance with LOLER and PUWER regulations.
  • Generate comprehensive reports via our online system, highlighting any non-compliant assets and recommending corrective actions.
  • Collaborate closely with our Operations Team to ensure job acceptance, smooth implementation, and efficient closure.
  • Manage your daily workload effectively, guaranteeing on-time delivery of tasks and regular updates on work progress and potential risks.
  • Provide support at various airports and sites across the UK, utilizing our fully equipped service vehicle.
Requirements
  • Deep understanding of H&S Requirements, LOLER & PUWER 98 regulations.
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar role and environment.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work independently or as part of a high-performing team.
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to connect with people at all levels.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate risks, with a keen understanding of their commercial implications.
