We are seeking a highly experienced Buyer with Clearance to join our team at Security Cleared Jobs. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex procurement projects from start to finish, ensuring that demands are understood and met, and issues are dealt with promptly. Your extensive knowledge of procurement categories and public sector procurement regulation (PCR 2015) will be essential in delivering exceptional results.
About the Role:
You will work closely with stakeholders to understand their requirements and develop effective procurement strategies. Your ability to review requisitions, place purchase orders in line with the correct route to market, and expedite orders to meet business needs will be crucial to your success.
Essential Skills:
• Active SC clearance
• Experience working as a Buyer
• Knowledge of procurement categories
• Public sector procurement regulation (PCR 2015)
• Experience within Defence, Nuclear, or Public Sector
• Ability to review requisitions, place purchase orders in line with the correct route to market, and expedite orders to meet business needs
• Experience in delivering cost savings
• Experience supporting the Procurement process for RFI, RFP, E-procurement, negotiation, and vendor management in relevant categories
What We Offer:
A competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including hybrid working options and professional development opportunities.
