Job Summary

We are seeking a compassionate and caring individual to join our team as a Care Assistant. This role involves providing companionship, personal care, medication management, meal preparation, housekeeping, and mobility support to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Companionship: Provide friendly face-to-face interaction and prevent loneliness among our clients.
  • Personal Care: Assist with all aspects of personal hygiene, ensuring the comfort and dignity of our clients.
  • Medication Management: Collect prescriptions and provide reminders to ensure timely medication administration.
  • Meal Preparation: Prepare tasty meals for our clients, catering to their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Housekeeping: Maintain our clients' homes to their desired standards, promoting a safe and comfortable living environment.
  • Mobility Support: Assist with getting around, enabling our clients to maintain their independence and engage in daily activities.
Requirements:
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills to interact effectively with clients, colleagues, and healthcare professionals.
  • Interpersonal Skills: Ability to build rapport with clients, their families, and our team members, promoting a positive and inclusive environment.
  • Patient and Compassionate Attitude: Demonstrate patience, understanding, and empathy when interacting with clients, particularly those with complex needs or challenging behaviors.
  • Flexibility and Adaptability: Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays, and adapt to changing circumstances and priorities.
