Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Children's Residential Support Worker to join our team in Porth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the children and young people in all day-to-day activities and interests, promoting their independence and wellbeing.
  • Attend weekends away, holidays, and trips with the children, providing emotional and practical support.
  • Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of care plans and guidelines, ensuring the safety of the young people.
  • Overcome and learn to minimise incidents when behaviour can be challenging.
Requirements
  • A desire to create positive outcomes for vulnerable children and young people.
  • An empathetic, caring, and resilient nature.
  • At least 6 months experience of working with children or within a similar Social Care setting.
  • A valid UK Driving Licence.
  • A current Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
  • The right to work in the UK.

Compensation

The estimated salary for this role is £26.76 per hour, with flexible shift patterns available.
