Duty and Assessment Team Lead

The Senior Social Worker will be responsible for:
- Responding to new referrals from professionals and members of the public
- Working collaboratively with other agencies and services to ensure immediate and prompt responses
- Supporting children and young people on a short-term basis until their cases transfer to other teams
- Providing robust short-term quality assessments of need
The ideal candidate will have:
- Extensive experience in children's social work
- A strong understanding of the legislative framework and range of services available to children and families
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- A commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
