About the Role

As a Sales and Marketing Manager for Historic Royal Palaces, you will be responsible for leading the central sales and marketing team to maximize the commercial potential of our venues. You will work closely with the Head of Events and Commercial Services to deliver a proactive sales and marketing strategy for the commercial events business across the six palaces.

Key Responsibilities

Develop and implement a sales and marketing strategy to increase new and repeat business
Market, sell, and promote the venue hire offer across the Historic Royal Palaces portfolio
Build relationships with third parties to increase new and repeat business
Represent the venues at trade shows and exhibitions both in the UK and abroad

Requirements

Recent event sales experience within the Unique Venue or MICE sector
Experience of business development and account management
Creative thinker and solutions focussed
Proactive and innovative, gathering ideas and content to help promote our charity
Desire to network and grow contacts within the events industry
Ability to work on your own initiative, flexible and adaptable, with excellent IT, communication, and interpersonal skills
