Cleaner Role Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Cleaner to join our team at NHS Somerset - The Bridge. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of the facility, ensuring a safe and healthy environment for our clients and staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and disinfecting surfaces
  • Operate cleaning equipment, such as vacuum cleaners and floor polishers
  • Restock cleaning supplies and maintain a clean and organized storage area
  • Work collaboratively with the Cleaning Supervisor to ensure high standards of cleanliness are maintained
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients and staff, responding to their needs and concerns in a professional and courteous manner

Requirements

  • Previous experience in a cleaning or facilities maintenance role is desirable, but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Physical ability to lift and move cleaning equipment and supplies
  • Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
