Job Title: Software Engineer

We are seeking talented Software Engineers with various levels of experience to join our small UK software development team. As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions for our navigation and mission systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the capture and analysis of technical requirements, including estimating timescales and product delivery milestones.
  • Design, implement, and maintain software across a variety of application types, including back-end database management, communication infrastructure, and client-server programming.
  • Front-end graphical user interface design and development.
  • Software testing, including unit tests and simulation tools.
  • Assist in evaluating and recommending new technologies, tools, and processes to maintain high levels of excellence.
Requirements:
  • Experience with C++ and object-oriented methodologies.
  • Knowledge of data structures and their applications.
  • Solid understanding of software development principles, design patterns, and best practices.
  • Understanding of code configuration management.
  • Knowledge of databases: PostgreSQL or similar.
  • Degree in Computer Science or related technical field.
