About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Area Funeral Specialist to join our End of Life Services team.

This exciting opportunity allows you to work closely with funeral homes across our trading area, providing cover and mobile support to ensure exceptional end of life care and client experience. You will be responsible for delivering funerals, memorialisation, and aftercare services, recognising the importance of understanding clients' individual wishes when organising personal tributes.

The role requires flexibility, as you will need to commute to branches in Hinton, Frome, Gillingham, Shaftesbury & Warminster. Occasional travel to other branches may also be required. A full, clean UK driving license and access to your own vehicle are essential.

Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £38,500 per annum, including a fixed addition of £1,000 towards business car insurance, travel time, and general wear and tear on your vehicle. You will also be able to reclaim business mileage expenses. In addition to a competitive salary, you will receive 31 days of annual leave (increasing to a maximum of 36 days after 10 years' service) and various employee benefits, including discounts in stores and healthcare cash plans.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Welcoming clients and guiding them through the funeral arrangement process.
  • Liaising with internal departments and external suppliers to ensure accuracy and attention to detail in funeral arrangements.
  • Maintaining compliance with company policies, statutory legislation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Providing correct care of the deceased, including daily checks and facilitating Reflection Room visits for families.
