Higher Level Teaching Assistant Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in supporting students with additional learning needs and helping them achieve their full potential.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Learning and Well-being Support: Provide individualized support to students, ensuring they have the best opportunities for success.
  • Lesson Planning and Delivery: Assist teachers in planning and delivering learning activities, contributing to a well-rounded curriculum.
  • Relationship Building: Foster positive relationships with students, helping them feel safe, motivated, and engaged in their education.
  • Progress Tracking and Reporting: Assist in tracking, assessing, and reporting on student progress.
  • Feedback and Development: Offer constructive feedback to support pupil development and achievement.
  • Safeguarding and Welfare: Uphold pupil welfare in accordance with school safeguarding and PREVENT policies.
Requirements:
  • Qualifications: Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or above.
  • GCSEs: GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade C or 4 and above).
  • Experience: Experience with SEN, SLD/PMLD, ADHD, and ASD is highly desirable.
  • Safeguarding and Child Protection: Strong understanding of safeguarding and child protection practices.
  • Behaviour Management: Experience managing challenging behaviour and working in an inclusive learning environment.
