About the RoleWe are seeking a passionate and empathetic individual to join our team at The Nelson Trust Women's Centre in Swindon. As a Women's Criminal Justice Keyworker, you will be responsible for managing your own caseload, supporting women involved in the criminal justice system, and delivering rehabilitative interventions to enable them to break down barriers and achieve lasting change.
Key Responsibilities:
- Undertake needs assessments and support planning to address the complex needs of women in the criminal justice system
- Deliver rehabilitative interventions, including one-to-one support, outreach, and group work, to promote holistic and trauma-informed care
- Develop effective partnerships with specialist organisations in the local area to ensure seamless support for women
- Manage your own caseload, prioritising tasks and meeting deadlines to ensure timely support for women
Requirements:
- Good engagement skills, with experience of working with women in the criminal justice system
- Ability to develop effective partnerships with specialist organisations
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care and holistic support
- Ability to work independently, prioritising tasks and managing your own caseload
