HR Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced HR Operations Manager to join our team on a fixed-term contract basis. As an HR Operations Manager, you will be responsible for leading and delivering an efficient and effective HR operational service to the business.
Key Responsibilities:- Oversee and supervise all HR administration day-to-day tasks and processes
- Ensure the onboarding and offboarding process is efficient
- Deliver and coordinate all HR operational activity in the annual planner within defined timeframes
- Collaborate effectively across the wider HR team and Business Services to enable a joined-up approach between all processes linked to HR activity
- Streamline and automate processes and systems to drive continuous improvement
- Provide regular HR reports and monitor HR operational metrics
- Ensure all templates and precedents are up to date
- Keep up to date with changes in legislation and ensure the wider HR team are kept informed
- Review HR policies on a regular basis to ensure they are up to date and aligned with our employer brand and compliant with relevant legislation
- Ensure HR compliance with GDPR
- Ensure that HR Operational Systems meet the needs of the department and business
- Ensure all data on the HR system is up to date and audited on a regular basis
- Support and develop the HR Operations team conducting 1-1's and reviews
- Degree-level qualification preferably in HR or Business-related field or full CIPD qualification
- Up-to-date knowledge of UK employment law and best practice
- Experience of working in a professional services or similar background (ideally but not essential)
- Experience of managing others
- Proficient in HR Systems with the ability to produce and analyse data
- Proven experience in streamlining and improving processes
- Experience of leading HR projects
- Able to provide pragmatic and commercial HR advice
- Excellent relationship-building skills
- Be able to act confidentially and diplomatically
