Financial Planning Expert - Contract

£70,000 - £80,000

Cobalt Consulting (UK) Ltd is seeking a Financial Planning Expert to drive the optimal capital income for the firm.

The successful candidate will communicate with internal stakeholders and other teams, liaising and challenging assumptions to drive effective decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Production of all forecasts and budgeting, monthly management, financial and KPI reports, as well as budgeting planning and analysis
  • Challenging assumptions and decisions made by stakeholders, and overseeing review of financial controls and reporting processes
  • Liaising with the Finance team to produce preparation, analysis and review of control dashboards
  • Take full ownership of balance sheet accounts, and prepare annual budgets, variance analysis, quarterly forecasts, presentations, and ad-hoc reports
  • Working closely with the Finance Business Partner, and conveying strategic views on the performance of the business to contribute to projections of future expectations

Requirements

  • Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
  • Strong Excel skills is essential, while experience of other reporting systems is desired
  • Solid accounting background
  • Strong commercial experience, including good communication, budgeting and forecasting, financial modelling, and KPI analysis
  • Real Estate industry knowledge is advantageous
