Asset Maintenance Lead

Brightwork Limited is looking for a skilled Asset Maintenance Lead to oversee maintenance activities and ensure compliance with regulations. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Site Leader to set and meet budget and KPI targets.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive maintenance plan to meet regulatory requirements and protect company assets.
  2. Manage helpdesk requests and allocate resources to complete reactive maintenance tasks efficiently.
  3. Conduct fault diagnosis and resolution to minimize reoccurring issues.
  4. Implement temporary and permanent solutions using the Management of Change process.
  5. Establish and monitor processes to ensure adherence to the maintenance plan and report performance monthly.
  6. Plan maintenance activities to ensure adequate resource allocation and completion of Permit to Works and Risk assessments.
  7. Participate in plant maintenance to ensure safe and efficient equipment operation.
  8. Ensure operational plant meets high safety and environmental standards, with prompt response to breakdowns.
  9. Maintain spare parts inventory and participate in FMECA studies to identify suitable spare parts.
  10. Collect and analyze maintenance data, including downtime reporting, to inform data-driven decisions.
Requirements
  1. Hold a minimum HND level in an engineering discipline or demonstrate comparable experience.
  2. Proven experience working in a dynamic manufacturing environment.
  3. Strong experience leading a small maintenance team or planning/executing maintenance activities.
  4. Experience in plant operations and meeting production targets in a similar industry.
  5. Full UK driving license and own vehicle.
