Job Summary

We offer an exciting opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to work in a fast-paced environment, chasing overdue invoices, taking card payments, and ensuring data accuracy. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Chase overdue invoices within agreed timescales via telephone, email, or letter.
  • Take and handle card payments securely and efficiently.
  • Update all data on the system accordingly, maintaining accuracy and integrity.
  • Prepare weekly, fortnightly, and monthly direct debit runs, ensuring timely payment from customers.
  • Open new accounts, conduct credit checks, and assess customer creditworthiness.
  • Perform generic data entry and administrative duties, supporting the team's efforts.

Requirements:

  • Prior experience working within Credit Insurance or a credit control role.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, enabling effective interaction with clients and colleagues.
  • Able to work in a fast-paced environment, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Excellent attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
  • A positive, self-motivated attitude, driving personal and team performance.
