Kitchen Assistant Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Field House in Horfield. As a Kitchen Assistant, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our kitchen, providing top-notch food and exceptional customer service to our residents.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Ensure the kitchen is clean and tidy at all times, maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff and residents.
  • Support the kitchen team in maintaining accurate records and inventory management.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve excellent customer service and maintain a positive dining experience for residents.
  • Participate in ongoing training and development to enhance skills and knowledge in food preparation and presentation.

  • Competitive hourly rate of £12.00, with 10% enhancements for weekend hours.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
