Role Overview

Ably Resources is seeking a skilled Injury Claims Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our non-accidental injury team, you will play a vital role in assisting individuals affected by abuse, violence, or harassment in obtaining compensation and support. Your primary responsibilities will include investigating cases at the pre-litigation stage, collecting evidence, and collaborating with principal fee earners to prepare cases for court. You will be working on complex, specialist cases involving historical abuse and injury caused by crimes of violence/harassment. To be successful in this role, you must have practical experience working as a personal injury paralegal within private practice in Scotland. Your excellent communication skills, organisational abilities, and attention to detail will enable you to handle client-focused pursuer files effectively. Salary will be dependent on your experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Investigate cases at the pre-litigation stage
• Collect evidence and assist with case preparation
• Collaborate with principal fee earners to prepare cases for court
• Handle complex, specialist cases involving historical abuse and injury caused by crimes of violence/harassment
• Provide empathetic support to clients
• Maintain accurate records and files

Requirements

• Practical experience working as a personal injury paralegal within private practice in Scotland
