Design Manager for Ancillary Buildings

We are seeking a highly skilled Design Manager to join our Engineering and Technical team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design and delivery of ancillary buildings for the Sizewell C Nuclear New Build project.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage and coordinate the design process, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery
- Lead a team of designers and engineers to develop and implement design solutions
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure design meets project requirements and regulatory standards
- Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports
- Proven experience in design management, preferably in the nuclear sector
- Strong technical knowledge of civil and structural engineering, including heavy civil engineering structures and ground engineering
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Experience in the nuclear sector, particularly in the design and implementation of safety-related structures, systems, and components
- Higher degree (MSc, MEng or PhD) in Ground Engineering / Geotechnics
