About the Role

This Executive Chef position offers a chance to work with fresh, seasonal food and have a better work-life balance. You will be responsible for managing the kitchen, assisting with menu development, working with fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes, creating a warm and efficient work environment, and managing stock control.

Job Description

As a member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for delivering hotel/restaurant standards without the split shifts and long weeks. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Managing the kitchen in the Head Chef's absence.
  • Assisting with menu development and ensuring that dishes are prepared to the highest standard.
  • Working with fresh produce to deliver high-quality and wholesome dishes.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to hold City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent, have a good understanding of nutrition, experience working with fresh, seasonal food, and demonstrate a personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in the wellbeing of residents.
