About the Job
We are seeking a Neuroimaging Consultant to join our subspecialist Head and Neck and Neuroradiology team at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for providing expert imaging services to patients, working closely with clinicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes.

Your Responsibilities
As a Neuroimaging Consultant, you will contribute to the general radiology workload and the general on-call rota, participating in audit, teaching of registrars, research, and MDT meetings. You will also be expected to develop and implement new imaging protocols and techniques, and to collaborate with colleagues to improve patient care and outcomes.

Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to hold FRCR or equivalent and entry on the GMC specialist registrar via CCT (proposed date must be within 6 months), CESR or European Community Rights. Essential skills include professional skills of high standard in Clinical Radiology, demonstrable basic management skills, excellent time management, computer literacy, evidence of clinical research training, and significant involvement in research projects.

Salary
The salary for this position is approximately £83,000-£116,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a range of benefits, including access to our on-site nursery, free beach hut, wellness centre, and staff networks.
