About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our Security team. As a key member of our Operational Security Team, you will be responsible for monitoring escalated security alerts from our Managed Security Service Provider (MSSP), assessing and managing their progress internally.

Key responsibilities include conducting in-depth analysis of security events to determine their impact and severity, correlating data from multiple sources to identify patterns and indicators of compromise (IOCs), and using Endpoint Detection and Response (EDR) and Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tools to conduct proactive threat hunting.

You will work closely with our MSSP to ensure we are effectively utilising the SIEM service appropriately and driving process and best practice improvements.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will need proficiency in incident handling, threat analysis, and security tools, as well as familiarity with network protocols, malware analysis, and log analysis.

You will also need to be able to interpret threat intelligence feeds, indicators of compromise (IOCs), and tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs).

A relevant certification such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or GIAC would be beneficial.
