Accreditation Compliance Specialist

West Yorkshire Police is seeking a skilled Accreditation Assistant to join its Yorkshire and the Humber Regional Scientific Support Services (YatH RSSS) team. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the regional Accreditation and Standards Management Team, ensuring compliance with international standards and forensic science regulations.
About the RoleThis full-time permanent post is available at Calder Park in Wakefield. As an Accreditation Assistant, you will be responsible for data integrity checks on the Quality Management System (QMS) and collating information for management meetings.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative support to the regional Accreditation and Standards Management Team
- Ensure compliance with international standards and forensic science regulations
- Carry out data integrity checks on the Quality Management System (QMS)
- Collate information for management meetings
To be successful in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and a high standard of attention to detail. A strong proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications (Word and Excel) is essential. An understanding of ISO/FSR standards/requirements/accreditation would be beneficial but is not essential as the role will provide opportunity for development in this area.
