Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Child Development Specialist to join our team at Bright Horizons Surbiton Ewell Road Day Nursery and Preschool. As a key member of our staff, you will play a vital role in creating a nurturing environment that fosters the growth and development of our young learners.
Salary and Benefits
The successful candidate can expect a competitive salary ranging from £28,274 to £33,660 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience. In addition to a comprehensive salary package, we offer a range of benefits that include:

Job Description
The ideal candidate will have a Level 3 or above Early Years qualification and relevant experience working with children. Key responsibilities will include:
- Planning and implementing engaging activities tailored to each child's needs and abilities
- Developing and maintaining strong relationships with parents and carers
- Promoting and ensuring child welfare, protection, health, and safety
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to create a positive and safe learning environment
Requirements and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A full and relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a nursery or similar setting
- A passion for making learning fun and engaging for each child
- The ability to build trust and strong working relationships with colleagues and parents
- Effective communication skills and knowledge of safeguarding and child protection policies
