Procurement Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team at Beer52 | B-Corp. As a key member of our buying team, you will be responsible for sourcing and procuring high-quality beers and wines for our subscription services.
Key Responsibilities- Product Curation and Delivery: Collaborate with senior buyers to curate high-quality products and ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
- Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification: Identify and capitalize on opportunities for monthly themes and direct brewery purchases, as well as assess market trends.
- Negotiation and Cost Management: Negotiate costs against budget targets and manage purchasing terms to drive cost savings and margin improvements.
- Administration and Documentation: Maintain accurate records of product descriptions, costs, and purchasing terms, ensuring company-wide visibility and transparency of purchasing activities.
- Supplier Relationship Management: Triage initial contacts and build positive relationships to build long-term partnerships.
- Collaboration and Cross-Departmental Coordination: Work with operations and other departments to identify strategic opportunities.
- Quality Assurance and Technical Support: Organize and administer quality testing processes, monitor and review product performance, and address any issues.
- Strong commercial skills and ability to identify opportunities.
- Commercial and/or procurement experience in the drinks or similar industry.
- Excellent negotiation and cost management skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
