Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated Business Development Representative to join our National Field Sales Team in Cambridge. As a key member of our team, you will focus on driving AG Barr core brand distribution and visibility within Impulse outlets within a given territory to achieve 'model store' status.

The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and sales skills, with the ability to effectively communicate brand plans at a local level and educate retailers on key business messages. They will also be fluent in English and possess a full driving license.

The role offers a competitive salary package, including a company car and up to 33 days holiday (depending on shift pattern). We also offer flexible benefits, such as discounts and cashbacks, gym memberships, technology purchases, and more.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Embodiment of Energy Portfolio: Drive improved rate of sale and distribution on key energy and 500ml packs, regardless of Route To Market.
  2. Brand Activation: Sell and communicate brand plans at a local level, ensuring effective communication and education of retailers on key business messages.
  3. Relationship Building: Participate in targeted tactical activity drives as briefed by your Field Sales Manager.
  4. Presentation and Sales: Present brands via a prepared presentation and secure a commitment to purchase.
  5. Administrative Tasks: Complete admin tasks as and when required, such as order sheets or call reports.
  6. Brand Awareness: Build brand awareness through excellent execution at the point of purchase.
  7. Distribution Management: Build distribution that matches our brand portfolio to the customer type, regardless of Route To Market.
