Astute's Power Team is seeking a highly skilled Safety Specialist to join their team in Ellesmere Port, Cheshire. This role involves providing expertise and direction for functional safety management within the business.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in Electrical, Control, and Instrumentation (EC&I) support for site projects, as well as experience managing the functional safety lifecycle for safety instrumented systems.

This position comes with a competitive salary of up to £60,000 + bonus + car or car allowance + other excellent benefits.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance on functional safety management
  • Offer EC&I support for site projects
  • Support COMAH activities such as intervention visits and safety report development
Requirements:
  • HNC minimum qualification in an engineering discipline
  • TUV Functional Safety Engineering qualification desired
